Beginners Patchwork Quilting Classes

A series of sessions for you to learn to build a patchwork quilted bag or cushion or small quilt. Using hand and machine stitching and different techniques to create a unique patchwork creation of your choice.

• Tuition, use of machines and tools needed

What you will learn

• Measuring, cutting, fabric sizes and choices
• Seams, pressing
• Piecing, appliqué, using a walking foot
• Quilt sandwiching, rag quilting
• Hand quilting or machine quilting beginnings
• Binding

What you need to bring

• Your machine if you prefer to use it.
• Fabrics and matching threads (we have some to purchase at the studio)
