Starter quilt 2 day workshop

This is a great workshop for a first foray into quilting or as a refresher. Each day at the studio is spent creating a small size quilt in kite tails pattern. We guide you through the basics of planning, cutting and sewing your quilt to finishing. Using our machines and tools you bring your fabric to create a unique heirloom to give. No experience of quilting is needed just a basic knowlege of how to use a sewing machine. You just need to bring your fabrics and lunch and creativity. Contact for information on the fabrics needed.

What you need to bring

• 1 metre of 3 different cotton fabrics, a light, medium and dark
• 2 metres of a complementary colour/pattern cotton for the back (or could be a single sheet),
• matching threads.
• If you bring your own machine you will also need a walking foot and quilting needles
• Lunch
