A host of new workshops for 2022

A new year of crafting is waiting in 2022. At the studio we are planning and collaborating new workshops craft boxes and subscriptions. The events diary is open until April with crafts and sewing projects you will love. We begin with dog coat workshop and a snuggly fleece poncho workshop too. We have the firm favourites of rag rugging and heart rag wall decor to begin the year.

These have a sustainable vibe as you can recycle materials that have served their purpose or that you just love and want to enjoy in a different way. Originally rag crafts were just that! Using what there was to create something beautiful and useful, all while having that mindful time to create. These are also available as kits so that you can create in the comfort of your own home.

A new addition this year is the outdoor bunting workshop, using wood pennants to decorate, a creative way to decorate the outside for the better weather.

The quilting weekend in March will show you and guide you through making a cot bed size kite tails quilt. If you’ve ever fancied quilting this is a great start, just bring your own fabric. If you’re not able to get to the studio for each day we do bed and breakfast too so you could stay at The Wood Cottage for this one.

We have child and adult workshops in the pipeline to share the joy of being creative. A weekly Crafternoon is ongoing on Thursday afternoons if you would like to come and work on a project and a "Teenage Stitch" block of sessions for Easter time. Message for any queries or if you would like to book a workshop on a different date. I will keep you posted of other events as we journey through the year. Happy crafting everyone.
