To tree or not to tree?

Updated: Nov 14, 2020

That seems to be the question at the moment and I have to say it is very tempting. I think you have to go with what makes you happy at the moment, particularly in the week of world kindness day. I have enjoyed decorating our garden cabin in readiness for Christmas craft get togethers, it looks festive I hope you agree, I just hope that people can enjoy it too.

Are we doing Christmas craft events? - fingers crossed, we are going ahead with these when we can, hopefully from the 3rd of December.

What Christmas craft workshops are there?

We are doing crafts like festive Christmas baubles, folk embroidery hoop, macramé decorations or textile wreath making. So for an afternoon you can relax be creative and get that festive feel with friends. A great treat for your bubble, if this sounds like something you would like to do, or you would like to chat about the activities, get in touch and we can reserve a date.

Do we do children’s crafts?

Children’s crafts are in small bubbles too, with just your group to keep everyone safe. Wouldn’t it be lovely to create a fleece no-sew cushion, pom pom garland , decorate a Christmas sack or a Christmas fairy headband and wand. Christmas creative workshops are suitable from 7 years up.

Things are very different this year so we hope these Christmas get togethers will bring the joy of being creative and crafty. If you like the idea but prefer to be at home you can do virtual workshops where a workshop pack is delivered to you and connect to a virtual workshop online. If this is the case then definitely tree decorations help that festive feel.

Keep safe everyone and keep crafting, it is such a mindful activity. I’m going back into the loft to get our tree out!
