Service Description

Teenage Stitch School This summer you can learn to sew on a machine in classes that will take you through the basics and get to started on creating sewing projects. A five week term of different projects with use of tools and machines at our workshop in Brompton by Sawdon, Yorkshire, with teaching from a qualified teacher. Basic materials are provided or you can add to your project with your own fabrics to recycle and reuse too. What will I make? A pin cushion, apron, appliqué cushion cover, tote or drawstring bag, pencil case with zip. When are they? Tuesdays 10.30 AM-12 2nd,9th,16, 23rd and 30th of August What’s included? Tuition use of machines and tools materials to make the projects What will I learn? Basics of a sewing machines stitches threading seams zip hems pattern placement and creating What do I do next? You can book online or contact by phone or email to secure your place. Limited places available. You can work independently or with your adult. Come with any fabrics if you want to use them for the project. Arrive 5 minutes prior to the lesson start time. The block is £60 or £12.50 each session, though the first session will need to be your first to familiarise you with the machines and stitches.
