New Season Workshops

Welcome to a new season of workshops at the studio with all things crafty! We have some new additions and some firm favourites to extend your skills. To start you off in the "I love sewing" series, is the hearts and flowers workshop. Making fabric flowers and decorations to decorate a willow heart. Sewers and non sewers will love this one. A great one to do with friend at £20 pp.

In this series there is also the "Queen of Hearts", a workshop to learn how to make a contemporary quilted applique cushion cover. Lots of new skills and individuality as you create your design, all materials are included all you will need to add is a cushion pad.

To look further ahead our Easter Stitching workshop is adaptable, whether you would like to make bunny bunting, a table runner or an Easter themed cushion the choice is yours with our guidance and all the tools and machines you need at your disposal. This would be a lovely intro for children to take part in too.

This year we are starting with mini courses for you to get a greater feel for a craft, we are starting with Start to Crochet a course of 4 lots of 2 hour sessions to gain the skills to get going. Also available as individual sessions if preferred. Look out for a start to quilt and get sewing course too as well as our Teenage Stitch. If you would like to register an interest or preferred day please get in touch.

With all the cold weather there is nothing more heart warming then getting creative, so take a look at the kits we have if you can't get to a workshop. We have lots of different kits, downloadable patterns, dressmaking patterns and fabrics. Here are a couple of examples. Keep warm and keep crafting.
